BYI helps young people turn ideas into action: Skate parks, radio shows, teen centers, concerts, dances, DJ battles, art exhibits, and even a mobile greenhouse school bus.
What’s next? You tell us.
We’re offering funding and assistance for projects that help young people develop leadership, job, and life skills while performing meaningful service to their community.
BYI is committed to supporting youth-driven projects and encouraging community-wide collaboration. All youth groups, school clubs, non-profit organizations, self-organized teams of young people, or individuals with ideas for projects that fit our mission are encouraged to apply.
Who is Eligibile? Youth groups, school clubs, non-profit organizations, self-organized teams of young people, or individuals with ideas for projects that fit our mission. Priority will be projects that feature young people (between the ages of 13-19) in key leadership and decision-making roles; adult help encouraged, but these grants are intended for projects initiated and led by youth.
